RaceB4Race travel awards
RaceB4Race is an ongoing conference series that brings together scholars of color working on issues of race in premodern literature, history and culture. For the upcoming Rising: A RaceB4Race Symposium, we are offering funds to help defray the costs of traveling to and participating in the symposium. All students and scholars regardless of career status or financial circumstances are eligible to apply.
ACMRS, in collaboration with the Folger Research Institute, is thrilled to offer travel awards for early career scholars to attend RaceB4Race symposia. Travel award applications for Indigeneity: A RaceB4Race Symposium are due December 1, 2024.
Eligibility
Any student or scholar not employed by ASU is eligible to apply for a RaceB4Race Travel Award.
Application Instructions
Applications for Indigeneity: A RaceB4Race Symposium travel awards are due on Monday, December 1, 2024 by 11:59 pm (MST).
When applying, you will be asked to provide a copy of your current curriculum vitae and a less than 300-word statement about the value of attending RaceB4Race to your own work.
