Predoctoral Research Fellowship
The Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies is looking for two outstanding and motivated post-baccalaureate students or master’s level students who are social media savvy and are interested in social justice and critical race studies. Successful candidates will join the Mellon Foundation funded RaceB4Race project. The fellowship positions are full-time appointments starting as early as Fall 2022.
The fellows are expected to act as influencers on social media, facilitating peer-to-peer learning about the roots of racism. Working with postdoctoral fellows and undergraduates, the predoctoral fellows will storyboard, plan, and execute multimedia social media content. They will also participate in various training/mentoring programs for a minimum of two years. We seek applicants whose professional preparedness, experience, and accomplishments are informed by experiences working with and within groups historically underrepresented in higher education in the United States.
